Year-End Update
As the end of the year draws near, I thought I’d take a moment to provide you with an update on the Ramblewood project.
A few weeks ago we submitted our zoning application to Douglas County. We expect to go through a number of review cycles and for our hearings not to occur until sometime during the middle of next year. We’ll keep you posted as things progress and let you all know when the hearings are scheduled.
This week we made our submittal to the Parker Water & Sanitation District for inclusion into their district for water and sewer services. As a reminder, this inclusion will ensure that we are not using the same groundwater that you neighbors rely on with your wells. It’ll also remove the requirement for individual septic systems throughout our new community.
We have updated our website (a while back now) to include the following documents for easy neighbor access:
Douglas County Hilltop Road improvement timing & plans can be found here.
A letter from the current landowner explaining their intentions not to further subdivide their remaining property can be found here.
And of course all the prior items previously posted to the website still remain such as the:
Developer Slideshow we presented at the 10/9/24 Neighborhood Meeting
Recording of the Zoom Neighborhood Meeting
Neighbor/Developer Questions & Answers that came out of the 10/9/24 meeting
We intend on hosting another Zoom Neighborhood Meeting sometime in Q1 of 2025 when we have more information to share
Finally, please feel free to forward this to any neighbor who may be interested. We will also post this email on the website as well for future reference.
If you should have any questions about this email or the project in general, please give me a call on my cell at (303)886-2838 or send me an email to dsheldon@miller-united.com.
Otherwise on behalf of my entire team, I wish you a very happy and healthy holiday season.
Neighborhood Meeting
10/16/24 - A message from the developer:
Dear Neighbors,
On Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 we hosted a virtual neighborhood meeting to introduce ourselves, our team and present our proposed new Ramblewood community. We were very pleased to have 40 surrounding residents join us for the meeting. We went through our presentation, including the evolution of our various concept plans for the new neighborhood, and then fielded dozens of great questions. The link to the zoom meeting recording can be found here for those who weren’t able to attend. Further, a detailed list of the questions asked and how we answered them are also contained in our website.
One additional deliverable that we promised to attempt to obtain was a letter from the underlying landowner stating their intentions not to further subdivide their remaining 80 acres of ranch property. We have included that letter on the website.
It is our intention of hosting another virtual neighborhood meeting sometime in early 2025 when we have new material to share.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, ideas you’d like to share or comments, please let me know. I respond to all emails and phone calls.
Sincerely,
Dan Sheldon
